Trunk Shows: What are they?

If you have been bridal gown shopping, I’m sure you have heard the term, “Trunk Show”. But what exactly is a “Trunk Show” and do you need to attend one?

Trunk Shows give designers a chance to showcase their new collections. Not only do you get to see their new collection, but it allows you to understand which styles are popular, trending, and soon to be released. Getting your gown from a Trunk Show gives you a chance to get a design and style that no other bride will have just yet.

Many of the gowns in each trunk show are not typically in store, offering a unique opportunity to try new options and styles. Not only will you be the first bride to wear a (brand new) gown and see a new collection that has yet to be released, but some bridal shops even offer a discount for purchasing from a Trunk Show.
