With a background in creative directing, modeling, and the make-up industry, she brings a unique perspective to every appointment. Sarra hopes to be able to do it all for her brides, from gown shopping to event planning. Sarra is a creative mind with a kind soul, always ready to encourage every bride to feel confident and comfortable in every appointment, ensuring they find the dress that speaks to them most.

Destiny was born and raised in Texas. She is a passionate, aspiring bridal stylist with a keen eye for fashion and trend awareness, who is eager to contribute a fresh perspective and creativity to the bridal industry.

Destiny brings strong interpersonal skills, a natural flair for customer service, and a commitment to ensuring each bride feels confident and beautiful on their special day. She is dedicated to a genuine enthusiasm for helping clients find their dream dresses.

Jade started her journey as a videographer, photographer, and content creator in 2011, when she started editing highlight reels for her middle school basketball games. During high school, she received more than 20 international awards for her short films before graduating high school at 16 years old. She received her BA at Texas Southern University in Radio, Television and Film at 18 years old. After a few years of managing her own media company, she returned to formal education and received her Master’s in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.

Jade began her wedding journey in 2017, when she photographed a close friend’s elopement. Ever since that intimate moment, Jade has intertwined herself in the wedding industry, full time. As the Modern Affinity Marketing Coordinator, she infuses her love for weddings with an affluent ability to connect with couples in the digital age.

Michelle’s focus on positive customer experience is at the forefront of every interaction with everyone that walks in the boutique doors. Experienced Business Lead with a demonstrated history of working in the consumer electronics industry. Strong business development professional skilled in Retail, Event Management, Mac, and Consumer Experience.

The founder of Modern Affinity, Joe Groom, is a chemical engineer born and raised in Minnesota. Joe has traveled and lived all over the world; he understands that every culture and person is unique and special, but that we are all the same at our core and all deserve love.

Joe has embraced Texas as his second home, because of the diversity and individuality he cherishes. He knew that Houston deserves a company like Modern Affinity to celebrate everything that makes Houston special. He has a passion for helping others and making the world a better place. As a Rotarian, Joe wants to create a positive and meaningful social impact on our community and the world.
