Here are a few quick tips to think about:

• Look at your budget and leave wiggle room for a possible need to work with an alterations team or seamstress to make sure the dress fits you best. 
• Dress for (shopping) success - put on any clothing you would wear under your wedding dress at the wedding. This way, you can fully envision yourself walking down the aile. 
• Choose your shopping companions wisely - bring supportive friends and family who understand your vibe and vision!

During the Appointment: 

Keep these keys to success in mind during your appointment for the best experience!

• Keep an open mind - you never know what style you’ll fall in love with when you put on the dress in your private fitting room!
• Take photos - You want to remember the experience and you can spend time reviewing things you want to change when you work with alterations. The Modern Affinity team will also take photos during the appointment to keep on file in case you want to see different angles following your appointment. Per your request, we will email you the images. 
• Ask yourself: How does this dress make me feel?. Try to envision yourself walking down the aisle. How do you want to feel? Confident? sleek? Sexy? Modern? Every bride feels different in their dress so it’s up to you to find the feeling that warms your heart.
• Consider your venue and wedding season when making your choice. If you're getting married locally, remember that Texas weather is unpredictable. Depending on your favorite style, we can assure that you will be able to feel the difference in temperature when you’re in a long-sleeved ballgown in the middle of July for an outdoors wedding. You want to be comfortable in your skin and your wedding dress.
