Here are 3 tips to finding your perfect wedding dress during the sample sale:
Tip #1: Know your measurements, not your size!
Bridal dresses are not measured the same as regular “street” clothes. When you’re shopping for a wedding dress, especially during a sample sale, it is important you know 3 key measurements: Bust, waist, and hips. Based on these numbers, you can find the dress that fits before alterations so your seamstress can make the corrections to perfect it.
We carry sizes 4-32 in samples in the store. Whether you are considered a petite or plus size bride, we have a variety of sizes and styles that you can try-on during your sample sale appointment.
Tip #2: Do your research on the Modern Affinity bridal designers
Looking at the designers we carry is important to understand the styles you will find. Each designer has a different vibe, giving a different perspective on your wedding dress. One designer’s focus can elevate your vision while another designer may not fit the style of your wedding. During the sample sale, you can pick 3 dresses at a time to bring into your private suite to try them on. When you’re looking through the different wedding dresses, it’s important to keep an open mind and a careful eye for styles you might come across that you didn’t think of before.
