2024 Modern Affinity Holiday Canned Food Drive

At Modern Affinity, we believe that finding your perfect wedding dress should be about more than just making a purchase - it's about creating meaningful moments and giving back to our community. That's why we're excited to announce our Holiday Food Drive initiative, where we combine the joy of finding your dream dress with the spirit of giving.

The wedding dress shopping experience is one of life's most precious moments. As a boutique dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences, we understand that true beauty comes from both looking and feeling wonderful. This holiday season, we're extending that feeling of joy to families in need through our special food drive promotion.

Why a canned food drive:

Food is an important part of the wedding experience. This holiday season, we chose to organize a canned food drive because so many Houston families suffer from food insecurity, leading to hunger and malnourishment. 

Food insecurity happens when families are unsure where their next meal is coming from, leading to hunger.

Food insecurity happens throughout the year, which is why it remains a significant challenge in Houston, Texas. As an ongoing issue, it affects thousands of families across the greater Houston area. As one of America's largest cities, Houston faces unique challenges in ensuring all its residents have consistent access to nutritious meals. Due to economic security, it becomes more difficult for families to ensure they are prepared for a holiday filled with a substantial amount of food. 

Modern Affinity strives to change lives - one family at a time. Our holiday canned food drive focuses on giving to organizations that align with the goal of providing for families in need. 

How It Works:

We're inviting our brides to participate in this meaningful initiative. When you bring in a minimum of three canned food items during your wedding dress shopping appointment, you'll receive a 10% discount off your final purchase. It's a simple way to make a significant impact while saying "yes" to your dream dress.

All canned food items donated during the month of December will be donated to local Houston Food banks, directly benefitting Houston-area families this holiday season.
