Experienced Business Lead with a demonstrated history of working in the consumer electronics industry. Strong business development professional skilled in Retail, Event Management, Mac, and Consumer Experience.
Her commitment is to make certain every bride-to-be and their family has the incredible service they deserve. All our customers are VIP customers. The bridal industry must change for the benefit of all brides-to be.
Sarra - Stylist
Sarra recently began her bridal journey, and instantly found a calling and passion for gowns and weddings, in general.
Sarra’s background in creative directing, modeling, and makeup artistry brings a unique perspective to each and every appointment. She hopes to one day be able to do it all for her Brides from gown shopping to event planning.
Her main goal is for everyone who walks into Modern Affinity to find exactly what they’ve been dreaming of.
Sarra’s favorite part of each bride finding their perfect gown is the special moment we all share when they say “yes!!”
Destiny - Bilingual Stylist
Destiny was born and raised in Texas. She is a passionate, aspiring bridal stylist with a keen eye for fashion and trend awareness, who is eager to contribute a fresh perspective and creativity to the bridal industry.
Destiny brings strong interpersonal skills, a natural flair for customer service, and a commitment to ensuring each bride feels confident and beautiful on their special day. She is dedicated to a genuine enthusiasm for helping clients find their dream dresses.
Joe - Owner & CEO
The founder of Modern Affinity, Joe Groom, is a chemical engineer born and raised in Minnesota. Joe has traveled and lived all over the world; he understands that every culture and person is unique and special, but that we are all the same at our core and all deserve love.
Joe has embraced Texas as his second home, because of the diversity and individuality he cherishes. He knew that Houston deserves a company like Modern Affinity to celebrate everything that makes Houston special. He has a passion for helping others and making the world a better place. As a Rotarian, Joe wants to create a positive and meaningful social impact on our community and the world.
Jon - Experience Designer
As a long time retail employee and a student of design, Jon has helped his brother architect a unique bridal experience. He may not be in the shop often helping day to day operation but brings a unique perspective to the development of our personalized experience.
